Hi! I wanna know an answer. We have a network in place and also a web server (apache). What I want is to install programs on my web server such that any client (windows or otherwise) is able to catch the program from my server, store it in its cache for the time being/ run it directly from the server and control various aspects of its hardware like a port connection which may be connected to a digital input/output. The client will see a HTML page where information is send using forms to the main server and then depending on this information, the server sends signals to the cleitns to execute a task. Possibble?Plz. guide me to the correcty resources, if aware. Can this be done, if yes, what is needed? Can perl achieve this? Any plugins for Linux? Let us assume a simple experiment like Stepper Motor control where its direction fo rotation and its speed (rpm) r to be controlled. regards vicki
