Hi Guys,

**End the above thread.**

Help newbies but not lazy poke. From the origin of the
thread email, I think you guys should have understood
that he is a genuine person asking about things.

Infact direct him. May be we should make a difference
from other lists. Be polite and write polite. Get our
community grow. And make people happy and let them
enjoy the sprit of Linux.

there are big things about being hacker and cracker. I
think hacker and cracker are almost the same in some
context if you take technically.

OK Here are my thougts.

1. Cracker need not be a lazy poke. he cane be a guy
who can't afford to pay for software licences. Who
wants to to break or reverse engineer the existing
technology(in fact it can be a misuse, But I don't
care). Like for example DeCSS. They are not lazy poke,
but infact those huys have done some thing really
good. Like putting things against software patent.

2. Hacker most often does things to learn new things
and ker is like more like hacker, except the thing
that cracker and hacker do the same thing in different
places.

My conclusions would be I don't see any difference
between cracker and hacker, as long as they both are
trying to do something good for the people.

Yopu can see lots of crackers who do good things about
reverse engineering the existing code which actually
helps lots of people know the existance of the
technologies.

But cracker need not be a theif, he can be a guy who
wants to just surpass or get rid of something which
obstruct from him to achieve what he wants to do. it
can be anything. I won't shy that being a cracker.

But I will be happy to be hacker and cracker. But I am
not going to write how to break ing Window XP machines
which are sitting on the net connected through
DSL/Cable. You figure that out.

In fact I am really proud of being hacker and cracker.
If you want any assisstance don't contact me, But I
may be able to send you some of the materials, But
don't count on me.
