Or, simply go with solaris et al and be rid of the cursed 1024 threads limits (yeah, yeah... 8092 threads after kernel optimization... I already recompiled pthread library and the kernel, so don't bother informing me about it) ... He asked about RedHat 7.2 and that was what the answer was focused on.
