Yes, they are set on both the machines. The relevant files on my woody
are as follows:

  /etc/ssh/ssh_config
       Host *
      #   ForwardAgent no
         ForwardX11 yes

  /etc/ssh/sshd_config
      X11Forwarding yes

Are there any other parameters that need to be set?
