I am not starting fetchmail anywhere in daemon mode. However the above
stuff comes only after remote users connects through dial-up to this
server. From where this fetchmail is started is puzzle. In fact when remote
user is checking his mail, fetchmail does not come into picture at all.

Since fetchmail is somehow started when remove user connects, I get the
following errors in fetchmail log file :

<snip>
fetchmail: 5.7.4 querying www.dempos.com (protocol POP3) at Wed May 29
16:26:47 2002
fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
fetchmail: 5.7.4 querying www.dempos.com (protocol POP3) at Wed May 29
16:29:56 2002
fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
<snip>

This is because during that time I am not connected to the net. The thing I
don't understand is why fetchmail is started and from where when remote
users connect.

Peace
