I'd say Mutt on Cygwin is at least remotely related to Linux (e.g. as
a Linux user I may be interested in knowing what familiar mail tools I
could use when forced to work in Winduhs).
As far as your political, emotional, spiritual, sexual, social and
economic pet peeves are concerned, it'd be appropriate to keep them
out of the list for many reasons:
1. There are other fora for discussing these issues.
2. People subscribe to the list for Linux- and Linux-related
discussions, not anything else.
3. The list may be called `Linux-India-<something>' but we do have
subscribers from all over the world and these other topics would be of
absolutely no interest to them.
4. [Specific to this link] We don't want to turn into another
soc.culture.indian flame-house with unbridled passion and extreme
abuse overruling sane discussion each time.
You can probably add more reasons to the list above. In any case, I
don't think we need to discuss this further on the list since I doubt
if any one disagree with the off-topicness of the original post. If
you do have issues, please send them privately to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
