Softhome runs Courier for POP and SqWebMail (part of Courier) for www
access; they probably run Courier for ESMTP too.

Courier is very particular about RFC compliance. Sam is of the opinion
that there is no point in writing RFCs in the first place if no is going
to follow them.

Its quite possible that Rediff and Eth try to deliver broken mail and/or
have broken DNS records. Both reasons enough for Courier to ignore
their existence.

Courier's lack of popularity, despite its rock solid performance and
amazing security history seems to me arises from this finickiness when
it comes to RFC compliance. After all, majority of the end users would
be on MS Outlook. :-)
