I am doing a project in internal modems. I would like to send
commands using DTMF from an external telephone to my modem which
is always online. Does anybody know how to implement this. I
presently can dial to my modem and make the modem respond to the
RING with an ATA command. But this just starts the auto answering
and handshaking and automatically disconnects the phone with NO
carrier when I start to press the tone buttons. Does anybody know
any other command for answering the RING ??
