But If I do not have a router or gateway , I plan to use only
HUB , and four PC , in which One PC is connected to the dedicated line
your site says about the configuration using routers , and since I am
not planning to use routers , advice on how to go about it
Your 4 PCs are connected thru HUB and one PC have two lan cards (ie one connecting
the HUB and other one dedicated leased line). That machine should be the gateway for
your internal lan and the gateway for that machine should be the router's IP. Check
with
your leased line provider to know the router IP. Install Linux in this gateway PC,
install
squid, mailserver what ever is required.
