hi list,
booting with the Linux distro cd and "not selecting"
any packages just after choosing upgrade option is a
well known method to overwrite the mbr with Lilo or
grub and meanwhile repartitioning the /boot partition
inside 1024 cylinder will save you the 1024 Voodoo.
hope this works , never tried but heard of
correct me if i am wrong.....
