NT does a lot of spam filtering, happen you select the right mailserver.
Also you seem to be using linux and mutt ... so you have procmail on hand.

The boot.b file along with chain.b and os2_d.b  are created at
the time of compilation of LILO. The options for recovery are:
a) re-compile and re-install b) Do a "lilo -V" and get version
number in use. Copy a boot.b of exactly the same  LILO version
from another box. c) Remove lilo and re-install from distro CD
