I had PCTel HSP56 Micromodem at home. After much trial and error
I found a driver for it at linmodems.org. When my modem smoked, I
was bought a DAX 56k modem. I tried the same driver for this too, and
it worked. It might work for you too.
But I don't remember where exactly I found it. Search
linmodems.org in particular, and hsp56 in general. You will find
it. And remember to use Google! :)
