The hindi font which u want to view would be on the server. Someone mentioned it as dynamic fonts. I guess, that person is very correct. But really we dont have many options here. Logically, what i can think of is either its a client side font or a server side font. I am sorry i did not test it on Linux. My office provides me with XP so , i checked it in IE and thats it.
