1. How is your question related to 'digest auth prob with apache'?  Please
change the subject when you start a new thread.

2. The admin need not and should not know everything that the user does.
How would you feel if your boss at work was looking over your shoulder
everymoment - even when you went for a pee?

3. Realistically, do you go through what you currently have logged in your
syslog?  Adding more logging which will hardly be checked is pointless.

4. Look at sudo to implement logging for commands run as root.
