Hello!

I upgraded from Red Hat 6.2 to Red Hat 7.2. I have set init level to 5.
I find I can login as root from the X Window login dialog box, but I
cannot login as user -- the display just disappears for a second or two,
and I get back the login dialog box. I can, however, login as user from
a command line, so there is no problem with passwords, etc.

This problem did not exist before I did the upgrade.

Here is what the file ".xsession-errors" says:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
XIM DEBUG: _IceTransSocketCreateListener: failed to bind listener
_IceTransSocketUNIXCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed
_IceTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to create listener for local

** WARNING **: Cannot establish any listening sockets
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can anyone tell me what is wrong, and what I can do?

Thanks.

Best,
Saurabh
