Okay, I got the nic up but I need a little help w/ netconfig. It gives me
the following options; I need to know what goes where, please.
IP address
Netmask
Default Gateway
Primary Nameserver
I have been given a static IP aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd.
Net mask will be 255.255.255.0 (I suppose)
What goes where ? Should I put my static IP as IP address or as Default
Gateway ? What do I give as Primary nameserver ?
Needless to say, the hathway chaps have said they cannot help me w/
configuring it under linux.
