I am Using PCQ Linux 7.1 Server for HTTP, DNS, SQUID, SAMBA & SENDMAIL. I upgrade the system thru Up2Date from time to time. Everything was going fine. Only a few days ago I find that sendmail returns mail addressed to any user on the system (except root) to root (from mailer-deamon) with the error message "unknown addressee". There is no problem connecting to sendmail by any user from any machine in the LAN. Also the same error message "addressee unKnown" is sent to outsiders sending mail to anyuser@ourdomain.
Only new thing I tried recently was to run OPENLDAP. LDAP runs fine, but I get error LDAP_BIND: invalid credentials when I try ldapadd -f (filename) ..........-w (password) Please take this mail as SOS regards.
