What does Exchange maintain the password database in? A LDAP like directory? Move to OpenLDAP. Otherwise sniff the network and get everyones password. > 2. Did you consider postfix? http://www.postfix.org/ My personal experience is that postfix defaults are much faster than sendmail defaults, and that sendmail requires more skill to maintain than postfix (you don't want anyone looking at sendmail.cf).
