Hi, One silly question: It is advised to have only one PDC in a network - What does that mean?
I have one computer that runs Win NT, and people log onto that, using MYWORKGROUP. Now I am trying to set up a Samba server as a PDC, for MYDOMAIN. Do I have to shutdown the NT machine? Can MYWORKGROUP and MYDOMAIN co-exist peacefully? If I have to shutdown the NT machine, how easily can I move everyone from MYWORKGROUP to MYDOMAIN?? People who log onto MYWORKGROUP and MYDOMAIN are into different activities, hence their computers don't have reasons to interoperate.
