You can have as many PDCs as u want in a n/w. In most situations one is sufficient. To migrate from MYWORKGROUP to MYDOMAIN 1. Set up Samba PDC first. [smb.conf and add users] 2. Go to all desktops and set them to logon to domain. 3. MYWORKGROUP and MYDOMAIN can co-exist peacefully.
