Dear All,
I have Redhat Linux 7.2 installed with two hard Disk
one hard disk is having, installation, and other partitions
and othe harddisk used exclusive for stroring file. both the hard disk is
having capacity of 40 GB
RAM is 512 MB.
i am using that for storing of files and mysal database server. i have only
one database in which biggest file is 200 MB.
now the second partition is using 6 GB files. now mysql server is very
slow. select query takes lots of time.
i want to speed up mysql so it can run fast. i have ram of 512 is there any
way in which i can allocate around 256 MB ram for mysql so mysql run
faster. now i am starting mysql with init command file
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql
my Server/mysql slowed down after adding second hard disk and uploading 6GB
of data. what will be the solutions for faster access of server.
Anil
