Ip Masquerading. Its a primitive type of NAT (or in particular, SNAT -
source NAT).

A bunch of howtos. :) Iptables, Ipchains, Linux as router all have their
own howtos.

Ipchains only provides a packet filter and masquerading. Iptables offers
much more, and will one day hopefully become the full fledged firewall
system that can compete with a Cisco PIX (for example).
