I suggest you start with the Emacs tutorial. Type C-h t to enter the tutorial. Emacs comes with translations of the tutorial into several languages--no Indian languages yet, but we would accept them.
After that, people are read for the Emacs Manual, which is free (libre) and comes with Emacs. I hope that FSF India will print and sell copies of this book in India. There are non-free books about Emacs, but please don't buy or recommend them. We can't expect much progress towards free documentation if we accept and reward non-free manuals. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
