Hi:

I would like to attach a second EtherNet card to the
motherboard (PCI slot). However, there is only one
WOL (Wake on LAN) connection point (for power).

I have a Intel Chipset 440DX motherboard and
LanBit 10/100BASE-TX Fast Ethernet Card (FastEther PCI/Ri)

Is there a way out, other than changing the motherboard ?

Is it a good idea to create a connector that connects to
the single WOL CN on the board side and has two male connectors
on the other side to connect to the two EtherNet cards ?

Does anybody see any issues with this approach ?

     ENet1Con [ ... ]----------+
                               |------[3-pin] [WOL con] board side
     ENet2Con [ ... ]----------+

Thanks for your time. Wishing a happy new year 2003 to everybody.

thanks
Tom.
