I recently upgraded from Red Hat 7.2 to 8.0. To mount my windows C: drive, I
edited my /etc/fstab to include a line
"/dev/hda5 /mnt/winc auto noauto, owner, kudzru 0 0"
This was tried first with text editor and then with Joe. Although my disc
gets mounted, every time I reboot, the /mnt does not display the disc and I
find that the line added has been deleted from /etc/fstab and now exists in
/etc/fstab.revoke and I am required to log in as root and redo the whole
process.

Can any one advice me as to what I am doing wrong and how to get this
partition to auto mount every time the PC boots. This used to work under
7.2, so why not under 8.0? The windows partition is Windows ME.

Regards

Samir.
