Samir,

From what you write, it looks like some program is deleting the mount 
entry from fstab each time the system boots. Programs that could do 
this include kudzu, linuxconf and webmin, to name a few. Check to see 
if you're running any of these services and disable them.

And you don't need to have "kudzu" in the list of options for mounting 
the filesystem.
"/dev/hda5           /mnt/winc              auto    defaults      0 0"
should suffice.
