[LIH]VNC on Debian Woody

Hi,
Has anyone tried configuring VNC on Debian Woody. When I try connecting from Windows to my Linux VNC server I get only the 'X'. The KDE window manager is not loading. I put the 'startkde &' entry to the $HOME/.vnc/xstartup file. But still the WM is not loading. Any reasons ?
