Alternatively, download the MII programs from www.scyld.com and force
the card into full-duplex. May not always be a good idea, though --
some switches are brain-dead and will start losing packets if the card
is in an incompatible or unrecognisable mode.
Why do I always be seem to be replying to Binand's posts? Must be
some karmic relationship built up over many lifetimes inhabiting the
same mailing lists. Binand, do you remember the
soc.dino.non-veg.tyrannosaurus group we were on together in the
Jurassic period? ;-)
