Unfortunatly. There was a bug in the eepro kernel code in RedHat 7.2.
However even after Upgrading the kernel to the latest

kernel-2.4.18-19

from redhat updates, the bug still seem to persist. After installing
RedHat 8.0, since the kernel was 2.4.18-14, I expected it to work with
eepro100. However the bug which stops communication to the server once
you start transferring or accessing files, still persisted.

Anybody using eepro card without the above bug ? Which kernel
version/sub version are you using ?

Peace

To clear gibberish all over the screen (e.g. after cat of a
compressed or binary file) use "tset" from ncurses-bin package
Usually the command "reset" will clear the screen for you.
"reset" is merely a symlink to the program "tset".
