I don't think so cuz i too have a scroll mouse which works perfectly with
my linux.

I've been having the same problem. I dont think
imwheel enables scroll functionality. It just expands
scroll options into programs that dont have it.
So what I infer is that your scroll should first work
on linux(nautilus, galeon etc) and you can then expand
it to other appz by using imwheel.
