Truely. But KDE is coming up lot of things integrated that mandrake provided as tools. Printer manaegr, font installer etc. If mandrake is no longer available which will not be the case for some time I hope, people can safely switch to slackware/debian or freeBSD for that matter.(Personally I think mandrake is better than freeBSD for running KDE. freeBSD gets stuck under heavy usage, both 4.7 and 5.0 but I think I should reserve that comment till 5.x serie is stabilized) And there are already talks of convertuing mandrake to user contributed distribution like debian. Would be great. Real bad thing is mandrake employes some of the KDE developers and they won't be employed after mandrake ceases to exist. That has no workaround..
