In _practice_, has anyone found Redhats Advanced Server more stable or reliable than the ordinary version - when in single-node use ? (I am not using clustering.) The issue comes up because some softwares (like Oracle 9i) have now put AS as a requirement, and my admin was unable to install with a standard version. Next question- has anyone managed to run O9i with the standard RH version (using some parameters/environment variable changes). (I dont believe this question is unethical since i have legal versions of both, and its only an integration issue).
