I am getting connection timeout with only one mail server. When we try to send mails to any users in that domain, it just remains in queue saying that stat=Deferred: Connection timed out with mailserver error message.
Maybe they firewalled you
Maybe they have network / mailserver problems on a regular basis
Maybe you are fairly distant, network-wise, from them
Maybe there's something like a cisco pix etc - broken ESMTP, badly configured MTU path discovery etc are a feature of the pix's smtp proxy
My question is is this because of settings in my mail server or at the remote server. Can this be due to any server blocking connections from my mail server?.
