Hi all, Finally the problem got solved when I switched my machine back to an old kernel ( 2.4.7-10 ). Actually I was trying with kernel 2.4.20.
I compiled 2.4.20 to enable iptables support and also ext3fs support. After I install this kernel, I get connection timeout with mx.sify.com and mailhost.synplicity.com. But with 2.4.7-10 it works perfectly. I will try to reproduce the same environment in some machine and will getback to the list. I have to configuration file but it is too big so I am not sending it to the list.
