| You don't seem to have the SVGA library installed. The vesa option
| never worked for me too, but svga did.

Following this, the man page says it will play  VCD files without X
in VESA compatible boards. How to know it ? Mine is a Kobian (Mercury)
intel 815 e chipset mobo.
