Hello, Here we have got the following senario.
Our email server is 192.168.20.1 We have now got VSAT connection which has got a router 192.168.20.244 (eth0). Now the requirement is the remote users are going to get the ip's as 10.71.0.0 .... range. Those people should be able to access the email server through the VSAT connection. On my email server the router table shows the following : [EMAIL PROTECTED] /root]# route Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface LANPJM-72-10.go * 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 ppp0 192.168.20.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0 10.71.0.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0 127.0.0.0 * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo default LANPJM-72-10.go 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 ppp0 [EMAIL PROTECTED] /root]# I have added the route to 10.71.0.0 as can be seen above. Now if I traceroute say 10.71.12.1 it is going through the default gateway of the ISP as specified above. What I need to do in the routing table so that I should be able to access the remote locaiton machines with the IP say 10.71.1.1 Thanks in advance.
