I am using ymessenger ver .99 and its installation is OK, I have tried configuring proxy with IP/port 8080 defined for squid proxy. but when I give yahoo id / password it became in connecting mode which never ends.
I have also tried GAIM which while connecting gives error "unable to sign on : Connection Problem" I do not familiar with NAT or masquerading, can any body tell me what need to set in these to run ymessenger properly.
