Hi Ranjith,

tar.gz is like a zip file. In Linux most of the times its source
distribution.
First untar the file using "tar -xvzf <file name>"

then go to the directory in which u untared it. You will find a README or
INSTALL file
in this directory. Follow the instructions and Enjoy....

I want to install some new themes in my system (redhat 8.0)
I had downloaded some theme files from www.themes.org
The downloaded files are in a "tar.gz" form
Pls let me know how can i install this in my system.
I am only familiarize with rpm installation.
(When double cilk on the file (tar.gz).it just getting open and there is no
rpm file in side it.
