hi i want to setup ldap server on my redhat 8 box. I have made neccesary changes to slapd.conf and ldap.conf slapd.conf changes are suffix dc=htoday,dc=net where htoday.net is my domain name and it has been changed where ever required in ldap.conf the host is the ip address of my ldap server and base is again htoday and net when i start the ldap service it starts fine but when i say ldapsearch it says cannot contact ldap server when i gave command /usr/sbin/slapd.conf -d 64 -f /etc/openldap/slapd.conf it says
