Hi there,
I downloaded the driver for my pctel internel modem from www.linmodems.org and
I was able to get my modem detected but when I try to connect , the modem
gives a message "No Carrier" and disconnects I searced everywhere for the
solution but the modem-howto says that it is bug with the 2.4.x kernels and
the only workarround is to load and unload the modules , but even that
doesn't seem to solve the problem........please suggest a solution
.........if someone has managed to get it working please send me a
message.....thanx in advance.......I thought it might be a good idea to
contact the author of the driver.....so I am going to drop a mail to him to
see if he can help??? I have included the output from scanmodem utility below.
Vivek.
