You dont need to add DNS for your dial up connection manually. KPPP does it for you. 
Issue "cat /etc/resolv.conf" while your connected through KPPP :-)

Do route -n and see if default gw is configured on one of the interfaces. if so, 
remove it and reconnect KPPP and see.
