Certainly you can share thw swap partition. This I do in my PC for mdk, RH, LiFY, knoppix etc. Regarding home partition, one should be careful. Though I didn't try it, I may suggest that you should have separate home partitions.Because UIDs allotted by systems are different. Further some programs create . files which are nothing but conf and storage files/folders. If different systems configure applications differently it may be a problem. Still if you want to test, while installing slackware don't add real user. add one dummy user and after installation adduser in slackware with same uid of mdk in slack also and del dummy. -- L.V.Gandhi 203, Soundaryalahari Apartments, Lawsons Bay colony, Visakhapatnam, 530017 MECON, 5th Floor, RTC Complex, Visakhapatnam AP 530020 INDIA ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
