AFAIK, there is  no solution for this.  As far as live  CDs are
concerned, as long as the partitions  are mountable they can be
mounted. It is best to keep your jpg, mp3 movies or whatever in
a logical partition of its own.  Before quitting do a fdisk and
change the partition type to "b8" (BSD swap) or something which
the Linux/  Windows live CDs  just cannot recognise.  Reset the
partition type  before use,  and mount  it manually.  Hopefully
your smart brother won't get on to this trick ;-)
