In dmesg I see the following : 
  
 eth0 : Intel 82558 { Ethernet Pro 100], <mac-address> , IRQ 11.
        Receiver lookup bug exists -- enabling work-around. 
        ........
        .... 
        Receiver lock-up workaround activated.
 spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7. 


I am not able to understand whether the last line is a part of the
network card information or its a seperate error message.What is 8259A ?
Secondly, why does it state that receiver bug exists ? 

Any clues ? 
Please help.
