Hi All

I have Slack9 on a 5GB partition.
During installation I remember to have
given KDE as the default Desktop (I am
not very sure).
After logging in, if I give "startx" it
goes to KDE desktop. If I give "startxfce"
it brings up X with XFCE.
How to get GNOME or other window managers.
I compiled blackbox, fluxbox and IceWm.
I created executable files and put them in
/etc/X11/gdm/Sessions directory.

If i give startgnome command it does not bring
up GNOME. For others, I do not know how to bring
them up. In Slack, it is always the text login and
then X is started by giving startx. I do not want to
disturb this default slack way of doing things.
(Unlike in RH, where in Graphical login you can select
sessions).
How to go to other desktops/ Window managers?

Cheeka

PS: System specs: Celeron900MHz,128MB RAM, i815e M/B
40GB HDD (having win 98 and RH9 in other partitions)
