HI, I was wondering if it is possible to say install from a stage three tarball, the one with the base install(?), and then copy, or get a CD, of someone's portage directory. Is this feasible? I want to use Gentoo as a regular CD based distro. Also, any Gentoo user ready to send his/her portage dir burnt on a CD?
