okay, did that too. removed everything from /etc/email-addresses. The emails then go out from [EMAIL PROTECTED] and not from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
As I said, please get rid of that exim.conf that was generated using eximconfig, and stick in a stock configure file from the exim.org site, with the extra stuff at http://www.hserus.net/exim.html - it will just work.
