I have two computers connected by a crossover UTP cable. The 10 Base T cards are NE2000 compliant and support Full Duplex Mode. I am using Mandrake 9.0 with kernel 2.4.19-16. On Checking with WIN2K I found out that the default mode for the card was Half Duplex though it supported Full Duplex. I subsequently changed it to Full Duplex. I suspect the same thing might be happening in Linux. How do I configure the card on Linux boot to go into Full Duplex mode ? I am familiar with editing the /etc/sysconfig network scripts.
Regards, G.Sriram.
