Hello, Almost all Britanica CD's I have come across are coded using Macromedia Director/Authorware. Infact most of the Entertainment and multimedia CD's are created using Director. I really don't know whether they will play on linux. But you could access Britannica Site at http://www.britannica.com/ for any data you require. They have made the whole Encyclopedia Online.
I really wonder why macromedia doesnt give support for linux in Director.
