Hi , I have integrated Samba with M$ Active Directory, users are able to access the Samba Server, how do I assign the file level or folder level permission in Samba to users based on Active Directory users, bcoz there are a lot of files and folders, and there are over 4000 users. I migrated the files from M$ 2000 server to Samba, but eveytime a user access the folders, it asks for a local user name and password. Is there a method such that Samba looks for the SID from the AD server.
